Dogs With Wings

Since I was 11 years old, I have been volunteering with Dogs with Wings — cleaning kennels, assisting staff and volunteers, and supporting wherever I could. What began as simple acts of service quickly grew into a deep-rooted passion for helping others through the incredible connection between people and animals.
I officially began my career with Dogs with Wings as an Apprentice Instructor, before becoming an Instructor, a Manager, and now the Director of Canine Operations.
Throughout my journey, I have had the privilege of volunteering and raising five service dogs, dedicating over 60 months of my life to preparing these remarkable animals to change the lives of individuals living with disabilities.
For over 14 years, Dogs with Wings has been a second home to me. Through my work, I hope to inspire and empower others to nurture the extraordinary bond they share with their working service dogs — and I look forward to giving back to this incredible organization for many years to come.

The Whale Museum

In the summer of 2019, I travelled to San Juan Island to get a Marine Naturalist certification. The course focused on the beloved, yet endangered, Southern Resident Killer Whales.

Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary

I briefly moved to Cochrane to partake in an awe-inspiring 3-month Internship at YWS. I absolutely loved running enrichment activities with the wolfdogs and leading Intro Tours for visitors.
